Tanzanian Children's Project Irish Annual St. Patrick's Day Charity Fundraiser
Join us for a fun-filled evening at the Tanzanian Children's Project Irish Heritage Charity Fundraiser! This exciting event will take place on Saturday March 29 at the Oakland Mills Interfaith Center.
At this event, you can expect an evening filled with music, dancing, dinner, auctions, and raffles. Put on your best green attire and embrace the Irish spirit as we come together to support the Tanzanian Children's Project.
By attending this charity fundraiser, you'll be making a positive impact on the lives of Tanzanian children in need. Your contribution will help provide them with education, healthcare, and essential resources for a brighter future. Once again this year's net proceeds will benefit the construction of St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary High School in Ushetu, Tanzania.

The Tanzania Ceili Band is a charity fundraising band for the Tanzanian Children's Project (TCP). The members of the band which often vary with each performance donate all proceeds from their performances to TCP to support health, education, sanitation and water resource projects in rural communities in Tanzania. The beneficiaries are the underserved and vulnerable, especially children. Since 2009 the band has donated almost $15,000 to the Tanzanian Children's Project.
Precious Heritage (formerly known as Dileab Phriseil) has performed at every St. Patrick’s Day celebration fundraiser for the Tanzanian Children’s Project.Precious Heritage features traditional tunes from Scotland and Ireland, in English and Gaelic. The band has performed at the Maryland Renaissance Festival and other local events in the Maryland, Virginia, and D.C. area and is available to provide traditional Celtic music for all occasions.
