The Friends of Hauberg Estate & Carriage Haus Bar present an intimate evening of classic and contemporary blues featuring the Tanya English Trio.
Now in her fifteenth year of performing, Miss Tanya will be backed by long-time accompanist Sam Price on guitar and next-gen bass phenom, Patrick Seaton. The bar is open 1:00-9:00, with a docent-led tour of the Mansion at 3:00.
(Mansion tours take place at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Tour admission is $10. Students are free.) Listed in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1972, this Prairie-style mansion sits majestically atop a hillside in Rock Island. Built in 1909, it serves as a popular event venue for weddings, meetings, and parties, as well as a site for public tours.
