What is Latihan?

Latihan is a practice that origninated from the Subud spiritual group, where participants allow themselves to engage in spontaneous activities, such as singing and dancing, to surrender to what arises from within, without expecting anything in advance.

About Our Workshop:

Our workshop begins with a period of quiet sitting, allowing participants to ground themselves and prepare for the journey ahead. Following this, the practitioner gently guides everyone to stand and relax, creating an open, receptive state of being.

From this space of readiness, participants embark on a shamanic journey, opening to their inner senses and engaging with the environment and one another in a profoundly authentic way. The practice is unstructured yet deeply intentional, encouraging participants to surrender to “what arises from within” rather than anticipating or controlling the experience.
