Something in you already knows how to do this. Not the technique — the willingness. To sit in a circle of people you have not met, hold a warm cup in both hands, and let your voice out of the place where you keep it.
Cacao does not take you anywhere. It brings you back. The heart opens a few degrees, the armor loosens, and what has been waiting underneath gets a few hours of air. We drink together first. Then we sing. Then we let the body move the way it has been asking to move. Then we sit with what came, and we bless the ones who came before us.
You do not need experience. You do not need a partner. You do not need to be able to sing, or dance, or sit still. Come as you are, in white if you have it, and let the evening do its work.
— Luba Saraswati Evans
Seven Offerings
I
Ceremonial Cacao
A heart-opening offering shared together before the rest of the evening begins. Prepared and served as medicine, not as a drink.
II
Devotional Singing
Live music and chant — the voice given back its place as a sacred instrument. No skill required, and no one is listening for wrong notes.
III
Tantric Breath & Movement
Simple, guided practice to bring the breath and the body into the same room — the ground everything else in the evening stands on.
IV
Sensual Opening
An opening of the senses. Taste, touch, scent and sound woken one at a time, until the world comes back in at full volume.
V
Tantric Ecstatic Dance
Movement open to every body and every level. Beauty you become part of, rather than something you watch.
VI
Tantric Poetry
Words from the great lovers and mystics, read aloud into a room that has already been opened — and heard differently because of it.
VII
Ancestral Blessing
A closing rite for the lines you carry — honouring what came before you, and what you hand forward.
Wear white
White is the colour of the circle. Wear something comfortable enough to sit on the floor in and to move in freely.
Come lightly fed
Cacao lands best on a light stomach. Eat something small a few hours before, and bring water.
Come alone or together
No partner and no experience needed. Everything is invitational — you choose your own level of participation, always.

On Being and Nothingness
"The observer is the observed. Everything is connected, and everything is one."
— Saraswati (Luba Evans), Tantric Manifesto
"Sacred is about the fire in the heart, and the smoke that is going up to the gods. Once the nothingness becomes less scary, the living immediately become more ecstatic."
