On Monday, August 11, we're gathering at one of Chicago's most beloved cultural institutions, the Rizal Center, for an evening of food, drinks, music, and community. As Chicago's first and only Filipina elected to City Council, Leni is proud to host this event in a space that has been a second home for generations of Filipino Chicagoans since 1974.
Whether you've danced before or not, you are invited to join us for an optional beginner tango lesson before the dance floor opens for the evening's milonga (a social tango dance party). Or simply come and enjoy the conversation, food, and time with our neighbors!
