Live!Tango Divergente is a distinctive and unconventional tango orchestra. Alongside bandoneons, strings, piano, and bass, the ensemble features five woodwind players and a passionate vocalist. The rich orchestral sound is a true pleasure to listen to and deeply inspiring for dancers.
During the milonga the orchestra will play two sets for us, alternating between classic tango from the 1940s and modern pieces by Astor Piazzolla, Peralta, and orchestra leader Gerard van Duinen, who has a unique gift for conveying the subtleties of Argentine tango. His passion for spreading the “tango virus” has become legendary, and during the concert he will also take up the bandoneon himself.
The milonga:
This will be a relaxed and social milonga, with plenty of space to connect on the dance floor. In addition to the live music, you can enjoy a mix of modern and neo tango music by DJ Jack — perfect for those who love to explore a more contemporary side of tango as well.
The Theatre:
The bar serves drinks and snacks at budget-friendly prices.
This friendly venue has a great soundsystem, good acoustics, a smooth floor and overall good facilities.

There are bus stops near the theater, including at Markt and Slotlaan. There's plenty of parking for your bike in front of the theater.
The Markt and Luifel parking garages are just around the corner and parking is free on Sundays.
Daytime street parking is only available with a day ticket.
