About this Event
Tango Nights - Limited New York City engagement.
Immerse yourself in the passion and elegance of Tangos, the mesmerizing dances of man and woman’s relationships in all of “it’s complicated”.
This performance is part of the Theater Series. Chiara Ajkun’s “Tango Nights” has been commissioned by the Ministry of Culture of Kosovo and is in the repertory of the National Ballet of Kosovo.
The Show: The close embrace, the raw feelings, the authentic music, Chiara Ajkun’s Tango Nights tests the relationship between man and woman in all of “it’s complicated”. The fusion of dance, lighting and powerful music allow the audience to immerse in passion, mystery, seduction and whimsical acts. Solos, duets and the body of dancers working as a whole become organic, and quite extraordinarily, men and women are equal and beautifully magnetic in tango. Tango Nights fully embraces Chiara Ajkun’s lifelong love of dynamic dancing and elegant beauty, amazing music, and introspective experiences set to minimalist décor.
