Elevate your Argentine Tango with Carolina & Ricardo
As you know, it is not easy to have access to instruction from such high caliber instructors, here in Durango. I work hard to organize such events and feel as though we now have a tremendous opportunity to get just that. Even more special is that this will be our first time hosting an instructor pair!! After discussing it, Carolina and I have custom tailored this lesson plan specifically for where our tango community is at the moment. *Full weekend pass includes all 5 lessons from an instructor pair, and the milonga: $185.00
*Three or more lessons: $40.00 each
*Single lessons: $45.00 each

$120 for a one hour session with one instructor/one student.

• Material is non-theoretical; we will be moving and dancing 90% of the time.
• No musical knowledge necessary. We will be using everyday language that anyone can understand.

• About Carolina Del Rivero
Carolina del Rivero started dancing at the age of 6, and throughout her career she has practiced different dancing techniques. She studied ballet at the world-famous Teatro Colon (the most renowned opera house in Latin America) and later Modern Dance at the famous “Taller de Danza Contemporánea del Teatro San Martin”.

She discovered the Tango dance in 1995, and since the year 2000 Carolina travels around the world giving workshops and exhibitions, including USA, Europe, Latin America, Central America and Asia.
She also took part as a teacher and performer in many renowned Tango Festivals in the USA, Europe and Canada.
She was part as a Master teacher and dancer in the “Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino” (C.I.T.A) -the world largest annual tango event that takes place in Buenos Aires every March- since 2001 until 2014.

Applying all her artistic knowledge from other dances, she brings to Tango style and elegance, as well as a profound understanding of the technique and dynamics of the dance, and also of the woman’s role in it.
Carolina has been practicing and studying The Feldenkrais Method which is a Technique of Awareness through Movement that allows us to understand how to use our body movements without effort. She graduated as a @Feldenkrais Practitioner in 2020 and started giving classes and workshops on the Method, also she started combining Feldenkrais with Tango in different seminars in Argentina and around the world having a great effect and feedback on the students.

*About Ricardo Biggeri
Ricardo Biggeri is an Argentine Tango dancer, teacher, choreographer and DJ.
Ricardo has studied with well-known teachers of different styles to further his own vision of the dance.
Ricardo began his professional career in 2000, and for the next 8 years, taught 10 classes a week and held many exhibitions at La Viruta Tango, the most famous and popular place for tango at that time. He worked with highly experienced colleagues to continue to hone his teaching methods.

In 2006 he began working in different festivals nationally and in 2007 started touring internationally, teaching and performing shows at Workshops and Festivals in Canada, United States, and throughout Europe. At the same time, Ricardo remained active in the Buenos Aires tango scene teaching regular classes.

Ricardo combines the traditional and contemporary concepts creating a style recognized for its connection, musicality, elegance and dynamics.
As a teacher, Ricardo has an uncanny ability to break down movements and their techniques, finding a simple and fun way to get to the most complex sequences.

Ricardo is also a Swing dancer, teacher, choreographer and DJ.
He was a pioneer of swing dance in Argentina, laying the foundation for what is now a vibrant scene organizing and participating in countless events and winning many international awards.
