All the way from Buenos Aires, Anahí is visiting Berkeley to teach tango in July! Anahí's classes are challenging, active, and fun. A professor at the National University of the Arts, Anahí has a deep knowledge of tango dance and culture. In these classes, she teaches tango figures for social dancing, emphasizing lead-follow communication. No experience is necessary for the beginner class.
These classes are taught using the terms "leaders" and "followers," and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people. Everyone is encouraged to lead and follow.
