Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at Malmesbury Abbey on the first Tuesday afternoon of each month at 2pm: a 45-minute concert of mostly classical music presented by the performers, often with the addition of a poem or two read by Jackie Tong. Refreshments are available in the abbey café before and after the concert.
Tango! traces the development of the iconic South American dance, from its origins in the ports of Argentina and Uruguay during the last quarter of the 19th century to its transition to the twentieth century concert hall and music theatre.
There’s no need to book, though an RSVP via our website www.trioparadis.com is appreciated. Turn up early to be sure of a table, as these concerts are popular… Trio Paradis Cafe Concerts are 'pay-what-you-feel' via a retiring collection, to keep live music affordable for everyone. You can find out more at www.trioparadis.com
