About this Event

Welcome to the Tangling Workshop! ➿ ✨

During the session you will have the opportunity to get an insight into the artistic work of Tereza Sykorova and learn her original technique, which she uses to process recycled textiles. The aim of the workshop is to recycle what no longer serves us and transform it into something new.

We'll learn:

-how to create material for textile sculptures,

-how to do basic stitches

-how to combine textile

-how create constructions of sculptural objects

🧶 What to bring?

Old clothes, fabrics and threads.

We will conclude the whole event with a group activity. The resulting sculptures will be exhibited as part of the residency program at the final exhibition at Estúdio de Criação Artística do Funchal on February 27.
