Tangihanga is a 75-minute solo drama-comedy performed by Kristyl Neho. The story follows Jess, a loving daughter returning to the marae to mourn the death of her father, Karanipa. As whānau and friends gather for the tangi, secrets are revealed, tensions rise, and old wounds resurface.Through a masterful solo performance, Kristyl embodies over 30 characters, weaving together humour, grief, and cultural ritual to explore the emotional layers of loss, memory, and identity.
