Tangent Theatre Company presents one of their signature play readings at The Spark of Hudson. Next up, Edward Albee’s Pulitzer prize-winning classic THREE TALL WOMEN. The story of three stages of a woman’s life - young adult, middle age and the end - is examined through memories, identity and the passage of time.
Set in the upscale, affluent home of the main character, the play is a taut, reflective - and humorous - look at the arc of life, ultimately asking what is “the happiest time?” Winner of the 1994 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. With Martina Deignan*, Molly McClarnon and Ann Osmond*; directed by Michael Rhodes. Stage directions read by Steven Young; produced by Andrea Rhodes (*member AEA). THREE TALL WOMEN is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Dramatists Play Service.
FREE, donations welcome (in advance or at the show). For more on Tangent: tangent-arts.org
This play is in two acts, with a run-time is two hours with a 10-minute intermission. Seating is limited for this intimate reading.
