Please call 518-279-4023 to sign up.
The Tang Museum offers free traveling
programs to public libraries. Hands-on art
projects provide opportunities for teaching,
learning, and understanding issues raised
by Tang exhibitions, while offering children
the chance to express their creativity in fun
and inspiring ways.
We provide all materials for library programs. Our programs are designed for children 5+.
Spectacular Stratum
The Art of Layering
The Tang Museum presents Spectacular Stratum. This project is inspired by the artwork of Joan Snyder, a mixed media painter inspired by the world around her and Paul Lewing, a landscape painter.
For the program, participants will be able to create their own sand art landscapes using glass jars and colorful sand, or mixed media clay collages using beans, seeds, and beads.
