Celebrate Tampa’s 139th birthday at historic Old City Hall. Tampa Bay History Center historians Rodney Kite-Powell and Fred Hearns will discuss two historical events that occurred 100 years ago. Learn about the creation of Black History Month, as well as the mysterious death of Davis Islands founder D.P. Davis. Following the program, birthday cake will be served and guests will receive a commemorative booklet: 100 Years Ago: Tampa in 1926.
