About this Event
HVN Hikes | Five Senses Nature Walk
Presented by Well-Connected
A community group hike near Tampa for anyone ready to slow down, reconnect with nature and meet good people.
We’ll open by honoring the land, then walk the trails of Hillsborough River State Park together, tuning into all five senses: the textures of the trees, the colors of the canopy, the scent of cedar, the sound of birds and moving water. Along the way we’ll learn some of Florida’s native plants (live oaks, cabbage palms, saw palmettos, cedars) and explore how nature inspires human creativity through biomimicry.
Wear what’s comfortable. No experience or beliefs required. Just come as you are.
Schedule
9:00 AM: Arrive and meet at Parking Lot 3
9:30 AM: Land honoring, then we walk
