Taming the DNA Match List: Turn Chaos into Clues
DNA results are only as useful as your ability to organize and interpret your matches. In this interactive workshop, participants will learn practical strategies for sorting and managing DNA matches across major testing platforms including AncestryDNA, 23andMe, MyHeritage, and GEDmatch. Designed for beginners, intermediates, and those wanting a refresher, this session will guide you step-by-step through proven methods to bring clarity to your match lists and strengthen your research. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet and follow along as we work through real examples together.
Deborah Lord Campisano, (BA History), has over 40 years of genealogical research experience -- 25 as a professional. She’s a long-time member of LGS, a past president of the society and its current newsletter editor. Since 2014, Deborah has concentrated on using genetic genealogy and traditional genealogical methods in the search for her great grandmother’s Irish origins. She enjoys helping others solve their DNA mysteries and traveling to research facilities with her genealogy friends
