Join us for a Shakespearean classic, The Taming of the Shrew. In this unique adaptation NSF turns Shakespeare’s fierce farce about gender roles and materialism on its head. This explosive battle of the sexes quickly goes from bad to utterly disastrous as Petruchio tries to “tame” the sharp-tongued Katherine, Baptista tries to council suitors for his younger, more favored daughter Bianca, and the security guard tries to book a film in LA? Broken stools, collapsing set pieces, forgotten lines and unexpected understudies create this masterpiece of mishaps. It’s a play within a play…within a play.
