Tamar is an International Dancer, Choreographer, and Creator of a Unique Dance Style
Tamar Bar-Gil is a distinguished dancer, choreographer, and creator of a unique dance style that arises from her extraordinary connection to Arabic music. Her artistry blends traditional Oriental dance with a contemporary twist, creating movements that are both expressive and intricate.
A graduate of the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) in London, Tamar's training spans Classical Ballet, Modern Dance, and Jazz, which has contributed to her versatile and refined technique.
Tamar further refined her craft at the Egyptian Academy of Oriental Dance in New York, studying under the legendary Yousry Sharif, whose teachings inspired her to develop her own distinctive style. This blend of classical and contemporary influences, alongside her deep understanding of Arabic music, defines her unique approach to dance.
Tamar shares her original dance style through workshops and classes across the world, teaching dancers of all levels. She also creates bespoke choreography for professional dancers, nurturing talent and inspiring new generations of performers.
