The Texas Association of Museums 2026 Annual Meeting will take place in McAllen and across the Rio Grande Valley under the theme Stronger Together: Celebrating Community Voices.TAM 2026 marks our return to the Rio Grande Valley for the first time in nearly 50 years. Daytime conference programming will be held at the McAllen Convention Center, with evening events hosted at cultural sites throughout the region.
Evening events will include visits to the Museum of South Texas History in Edinburg, the International Museum of Art & Science in McAllen, and multiple cultural locations in downtown Brownsville.
