Interested in becoming a wildlife rehabilitation volunteer at the Auburn University Raptor Center? Join us for our Rehabilitation Volunteer Orientation, held outdoors at the Raptor Center Amphitheater.
This orientation is designed for individuals interested in supporting the care and recovery of injured, orphaned, and non-releasable birds of prey. Participants will learn about the Raptor Center's rehabilitation program, the role volunteers play in supporting animal care and husbandry, safety protocols, biosecurity practices, and expectations for working in a wildlife rehabilitation environment.
Attendees will meet rehabilitation staff, gain an understanding of daily volunteer responsibilities, and learn how their efforts contribute to the treatment, recovery, and conservation of raptors across Alabama. Whether you are looking to expand your wildlife experience or make a meaningful impact in raptor conservation, this orientation is the first step toward joining our rehabilitation team.
Please dress for the weather, as the orientation will be held outdoors in the Raptor Center Amphitheater.
We look forward to sharing our passion for raptor rehabilitation and welcoming the next generation of dedicated volunteers. 🦅💙💛 War Eagle!💙💛 War Eagle
