About this Event

About the Film

Talking to the Sun is a 20 minute documentary of astronomical proportions, joining an organic farmer, Frank, as he takes care of his small spot on Earth, creating his own path from seed to harvest.

Frank is an important part of our community, growing organic food and promoting healthy eating. Frank is creating a life measured not by scale, but by care. 🌱

This is about paying close attention to notice the magic in the everyday.

About the Beneficiary

Garden to Table empowers school communities with gardens and curriculum to engage all students in experiential outdoor education. All proceeds from this event will benefit Garden to Table's school garden programming at 18 elementary schools across the Boulder Valley.

About the Event

We'll start with some socializing, then join together to experience the wonder of small farming through a remarkable documentary. Following the film will be a panel discussion with filmmaker Megan Sweeney, film star Farmer Frank, and Garden to Table Executive Director Lindsey LeCuyer.
