Did you know that you can experience the Everglades right here in Palm Beach County? Grassy Waters Preserve is a pristine and vital remnant of the greater Everglades ecosystem that also serves as the drinking water supply for the City of West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, and South Palm Beach. A mosaic of marshes, cypress swamps, and forested hammocks, this 23-square-mile wetland is home to a fascinating variety of native plants and wildlife. Join us to learn more about the history and ecology of this remarkable wetland wilderness - and about what we can all do to conserve, protect, and enjoy its waters.
This program is designed for participants 15 years and older. This program is FREE, but space is limited and reservations are required. This will be a seated, indoor presentation.
