Talk N’ Roll: A Taste of Abbey Road combines the creativity, production and energy of a Beatles themed dinner with stories, ideas, inspiration, and a live performance celebrating the music of John, Paul, George and Ringo.

Presented by D.J. Williams, Just Like (Starting Over) tells the fascinating local story of London, Ontario’s surprising connection to the early success of The Beatles in North America.

Long before Beatlemania swept the continent and months before their legendary appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show, something remarkable was already happening right here in London.

Through the story of CFPL Radio, a young DJ named Dick Williams, music librarian Debbie Dennis and a record by a relatively unknown band from Liverpool, D.J. takes the audience back to a moment when London found itself at the beginning of one of the biggest stories in music history.

But that’s only where the journey begins.

From London in 1963 to John Lennon’s life-changing voyage to Bermuda in 1980, Just Like (Starting Over) is a story about music, creativity, taking chances, rediscovering inspiration and recognizing possibilities that may be hiding right in front of us.

It’s a London story. It’s a Beatles story. And ultimately, it’s a story about what might happen when you look at something familiar in an entirely different way.

Because starting over doesn't mean starting from zero.
