‘Getting Your Book Published’ is a practical and informative talk led by author Helen Grant, designed for aspiring writers who want to understand how the publishing world really works. The session guides participants through every stage of the journey, from preparing a manuscript for submission to marketing a finished book.Helen Grant has published nine novels and two short story collections, and has also self-published ‘The Antiquary and the Crocodile’, a book of critical essays on the ghost story writer M. R. James.
Helen is a Royal Literary Fund Fellow and has coached students in academic writing at the University of Stirling. In addition, she delivers workshops on ghost story writing and publishing, most recently at Abertay University.
