Talk and Walk with Abby Dunnigan: Why Maine called the early Artists

Abby Dunnigan, a Museum Studies Specialist, offers short discussions about What attracted the earliest artists that came to Maine and painted in Plein Air and how that has led to the work of our current Maine Artists. As groups come into the gallery, Abby will give you about a five minute talk and then walk with you to discuss some of the paintings in the gallery that reflect the discussion. Growing up on Long Island and watching artists on residency there painting Maine has led to a life devoted to the study and sharing of art.
