Join us on Monday 6 July for a talk 'All About Eels' by Matthew Hatchwell, former Director of Conservation at the Zoological Society of London.
The European Eel is one of the most mysterious creatures on earth, with a complex lifecycle that is still not fully understood. Sadly, it is also one of the most trafficked creatures and is now classified as critically endangered. We are fortunate that eels still migrate up the river Stour through Kingsmead, but their numbers are in decline.
To learn more about the amazing lifecycle of European Eels and what is being done to help their numbers to recover, please join us at our AGM on Monday 6 July in St Stephen's Church Hall, Hales Drive, Canterbury, CT2 7AB.
