About this Event
For kids aged 5-12 years. Please book a ticket for every child participating (no need to book for the accompanying adults.)
Step into the world of puppetry and ventriloquism in this interactive, hands-on workshop! Kids will not only design and build their own unique puppet to take home, but they’ll also learn the secrets of ventriloquism—including how to “throw their voice” and bring their character to life.
Through fun exercises and guided practice, participants will explore the art of storytelling, voice control, and performance, discovering how to make their puppet talk, react, and entertain! Whether they create a funny sidekick, a mischievous trickster, or a wise old storyteller, every puppet will have its own personality.
Frankston City Libraries is proud to be able to provide this event FREE of charge to the community. Help us make this event a success by committing only if you can attend. If plans change, please cancel promptly to support our facilitators in preparing for your participation. This will support the ongoing delivery of our programs and ensure access for all.
