Join us for an evening of original short works by local playwrights, presented in a simple staged-reading format with minimal lighting and maximum imagination. From eerie mysteries and ghost stories to dark comedy and the unexpected, Tales Told in the Dark will showcase fresh new voices from Hillsboro and the surrounding communities.
Season Ticket Holders Attend Free! (General Admission: $10)
ATTENTION WRITERS:
As part of HART's Summer of New Works, we will be accepting anonymous submissions from July 1 – August 1.
Submission Guidelines:
--Original works only
--Never previously performed
--5–18 pages in length
--Open to writers in Hillsboro and the surrounding area
--Anonymous selection process
--4–7 plays will be selected, depending on length and programming needs
Selections will be announced by September 1 and chosen to create a balanced and entertaining evening of theatre. More details will be released in June, but there's no need to wait...
