Tales Over Tea: A Spooktacular Halloween Edition

This October, step into the magic of Fortnum’s for a spooktacular edition of Tales Over Tea. Gather the family in our Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon, where storytelling and Afternoon Tea come together in an enchanting seasonal treat.

As the lights dim and the story begins, children will be welcomed into a world where Fortnum’s takes on a very different life after hours. Shelves sparkle, jars whisper, and—if you listen closely—the famous hampers creak as if alive. At the heart of the tale lies one hamper more mysterious than the rest: The Halloween Hamper.

With the help of our red-coat storytellers, little ones will join in the adventure to unlock the Hamper’s secrets. Only those who are brave, kind, and full of imagination will discover what lies within—whether that’s a chorus of frogs, a gathering of hedgehogs, or something else entirely.

Following the story, children will be treated to a frightfully fun Halloween themed Afternoon Tea, whilst grown-ups can indulge in classic scones and Fortnum’s finest tea. Perfect for a family day out in October, it’s a playful and memorable way to mark the season together.

Tales Over Tea is located in the Drawing Room in The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon at Fortnum & Mason.
