Tales by Firelight: Lake Norman Legends, Lore & Local Hauntings
About this Event
Description
As the evenings grow long and the leaves come down, it’s the season for telling tales.
The Jovian Parlour, a new local speaker series, invites you to an evening of strange legends, restless spirits, and curious hauntings from around Lake Norman, told by author and historian O.C. “Chris” Stonestreet IV.
Pull up a chair and discover the darker side of local history, where fact and folklore mingle, whispers linger, and the truth may be stranger than the tales.
Early-bird gift: Register by Friday, November 6 to receive a copy of Chris’s book, Curse of the Wampus, at the event. While supplies last.

A Note About the Setting
Our evening will unfold on Davesté Vineyards' covered patio, warmed by outdoor heaters. November nights can be crisp, so we encourage guests to dress in cozy layers as we gather for an evening of stories, mystery, and autumn charm.
