Do you love live music and want to have a say in the sound of this year’s Levitt season? Join the 2026 Levitt AMP Harrisonburg Talent Selection Committee! The Levitt AMP Harrisonburg Music Series exists to bring our community together through the shared joy of free, live music—and the Talent Selection Committee is at the heart of making that happen.
As a member of this volunteer committee, you’ll listen to, research, and review the artists/bands that have been promoted to us for the 2026 Levitt season–playing an active role in determining the seven performers who will take the stage this year.
Our first meeting will take place at the HDR office (217 S Liberty St., #204) at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, February 4th. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet some of the returning committee members and will get an overview of the artist review process.
Please note: attending the February 4 intro meeting does not commit you to serving on the committee. Committee members will confirm their participation after the meeting.
Meeting Schedule (time will be determined during the first meeting): This committee will meet weekly, on Wednesday evenings, beginning in February. Members must be available to attend a minimum of 5 meetings. In-person attendance is preferable, but there is a virtual option.

Time Commitment (maximum of 25 hours over the course of 2 months): Listening to and reviewing potential artists will require around 10-15 cumulative hours, outside of committee meetings.
