Music & Art - Two Nights of Music 🎶
In partnership with local artist Erin Murray, we are super excited to announce our next Group Art Show, The Audio/Visual Show, in the North Wing Gallery at Sage Bird to show for January 2026.
The A/V Show is an artistic collaboration between Music & Art to create a Vinyl Cover-sized art piece inspired by a piece of music.

Artist Statement
Caleb Stine is a songwriter, musician and visual artist, who calls both Harrisonburg, Virginia and Baltimore, Maryland home. He plays over 130 shows a year, has released 15 albums of original music, made soundtracks for films and documentaries, and opened shows for everyone from Jason Isbell to Los Lobos. Through it all, he’s never been able to shake his fascination with visual art. Painting and drawing have woven through his creative life and provided a counterbalance to the music at every turn. He’s honored to share “The Safeway Series” in his third gallery show.

Shortly after his daughter was born in 2024, an ad for the grocery store, Safeway, slipped through his Baltimore mail slot. On a whim, instead of throwing it into recycling, he spread it out on his desk and laid down a layer of paint. He then went to change a diaper. During nap time he added a layer of marker and, after a late night show, crayoned in motifs with paint sticks a previous roommate had forgotten. Every time he walked into the Baltimore house, a fresh Safeway ad was waiting for him, each providing an unassuming canvas. Over time “The Safeway Series” emerged, as well as his new motto: “Do as much as you can with as little as possible.”

Rather than letting the limitations on time and sleep hinder his creativity, he was delighted to find these limitations could actually fuel it. “The Safeway Series” reflects the world he works to give his children - one where inspiration knows no limits and where the chance to shine your light is just one creative act away.
