Sunday, June 7th is the Takoma Pride Parade and Street Fair from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. All are invited to join in this family-friendly event!Join the Parade!
Dress festively and join the parade! Come early to create posters with your personal messages of Pride. March to Laurel Avenue for the Street Fair for lots of fun. Meet up 201 Ethan Allen Avenue. Poster making starts at 9:30 am. Parade leaves at 10:00am.
Just want to watch? Parade runs approximately 10:00 am - 10:30 am
Line up along Carroll Ave between Philadelphia Ave and Laurel Ave. Show your support as the parade marches by!
At the Street Fair from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm:
- Vendor booths with lots of info, books, zine-making, crafts and more!
- Free face painting and chalk for writing expressions of Pride in the street
- Pride art installation for taking photos created by the Takoma Park Rainbow Club
- Ice cream from Frosty Softy
