Taking Water for Granted: Discussion Forum about our Water Supply from Flood to Drought

We’re working towards becoming a Watermark Town – part of a network of towns working to save water, manage rainwater, reduce runoff and improve the local environment.
As part of this work, we’re hosting Taking Water for Granted at St Margaret’s Hall on Thursday 22 October at 6.30pm.
With heatwaves, drought and wildfires becoming more familiar, alongside the ever-present risk of flooding, three expert speakers will explore where our water comes from, how our local water supply works and what we can do to better manage this precious resource.
The three speakers at the event are:
🟢 Danny O'Callaghan
🟢 Paul Saynor, Technical Director Water Supply at Wessex Water
🟢 Rachel Berger.
