Description:
Kinship Care Resource Center staff will facilitate a panel of three kinship caregivers, who will share perspectives as caregivers. Kinship caregivers will share their experiences with child welfare, legal issues and accessing supports and services.
Objectives:
As a result of this course, participants will be prepared to:
1. Define Kinship Care
2. Recognize the differences in needs between kinship caregivers and foster care families.
3. Honor the lived experience of kinship caregivers.
