Taking Back Our Future: Turning our Pain into Purpose

This event WILL BEGIN as a commemorative Buggy Parade meeting at 10am at the Evansville Civic Center Plaza. The Buggy Parade marking those infants lost in their first year of life will proceed to the CK Newsome Center for a brief memorial ceremony. We will note the current toll health disparities that mean greater health risks for Black and Brown mothers and their babies. We will learn how it is that our babies are dying and what we can to bend the curve. Our community forum, featuring communitie voices and life-saving support for parents and newborns will immediately follow. The event is free and lunch will be served.
