Join us on Wednesday, 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟏𝐬𝐭, for Comfort Food from the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬. Pick up is from 5-6 pm at New Covenant UCC (202 E. 3rd Street- Use the entrance on the west side of the building along Academy St.)
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡’𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠:
-𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐝𝐨- chicken thighs, potatoes, carrots, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, green peas, tomato sauce, tomato paste, soy sauce, vinegar, Mama Sita’s Menudo Mix, onion, garlic, bay leaves, salt, and pepper.
*𝐕𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 option is available, with tofu substituted for chicken.
-𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐞
-𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐧– plantains, spring roll wrapper, dark brown sugar, vegetable oil, and chocolate syrup.
𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨 𝐣𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐞 is available for purchase separately.
*𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞: This month’s meal contains soy and wheat. Spices and seasonings may contain other allergens. Food is prepared in a kitchen that uses eggs, wheat, and dairy. Please ask if you have further questions.

Joining us for a takeout meal not only allows you to experience a bit of another culture and take a break from cooking, but meals also help support Thrive's ESL classes for those working hard to learn English, as well as Thrive’s immigration legal services program assisting low-income community members.
