Join us on Wednesday, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝐭𝐡, for Comfort Food from 𝐏𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐨. Pick up is from 5-6 pm at New Covenant UCC (202 E. 3rd Street--Use the entrance on the west side of the building along Academy St.)
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡’𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠:
*𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥ó𝐧 (Plantain Lasagna)- Plantains, ground beef, adobo seasoning, sazón seasoning, onion, green bell pepper, recaito flavoring base, pimento-stuffed green olives, capers, oregano, tomato sauce, shredded cheese, eggs, vegetable oil, and baking soda.
(Recaito flavoring base- green bell pepper, cilantro, sweet chili pepper, and garlic. Sazón seasoning-coriander, cumin, turmeric, garlic powder, salt, oregano, black pepper.)
*𝑽𝒆𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝒐𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆- Substituting ground beef for Impossible ground beef.
