Join us on Wednesday, 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟕𝐭𝐡, for Comfort Food from 𝐌𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐜𝐨. Pick up is from 5-6 pm at New Covenant UCC (202 E. 3rd Street- Use the entrance on the west side of the building along Academy St.)
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡’𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝟐 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟏 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞):
-𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 (chicken)- Corn masa, chicken, salsa verde, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, jalapeno peppers, oil.
*𝐕𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝘰𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘷𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘻𝘻𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘴𝘦.
-𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞- Corn masa, milk, peanuts, golden raisins, unsalted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder.
-𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 (Mild spice level)– pinto beans, diced tomatoes & chilies, vegetable broth, cumin, chili powder, and garlic.
-𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐞- tomato sauce, cumin, garlic, onion powder, and oil.
-𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐚 (mild-moderate spice level)- tomatoes, Chile de arbol, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, onion, salt, pepper, Goya Adobo, and olive oil.

𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐚 will be available separately for purchase (ingredients: rice, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sugar).
*𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞: This month’s meal contains 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐬, wheat, and dairy. Spices and seasonings may contain other allergens. Food is prepared in a kitchen that uses eggs, wheat, and dairy. Please ask if you have further questions.
Meals are $12.00, and Drinks are $3.00

Joining us for a takeout meal not only allows you to experience a bit of another culture and take a break from cooking, but meals also help support Thrive's ESL classes for those working hard to learn English as well as Thrive’s immigration legal services program assisting low-income community members.
