Shake off your winter blues and warm up at MCL for Take Your Child to the Library Day! The annual Family Fun Day will have programming for all ages, including live music by Long Trail School student band Maple Road, lunches for purchase by Manchester’s own Sushi Boat and Willoughby’s Depot Eatery, an outdoor winter animal tracking activity led by Merck Forest & Farmland Center, Fantastic Snowflake crafts with local artist Kim Ray, and more. “Take Your Child to the Library Day (TYCLD) was founded in 2011 at the Waterford Public Library in Connecticut by retired librarian Nadine Lipman with help from librarian Caitlin Augusta and author/illustrator Nancy Elizabeth Wallace.
