Take the Step 2026 is a one-day job skills and job fair event designed to support individuals in East Texas who are ready to take their next step toward employment and stability. Whether you're looking for a job, need interview clothing, or could use a little help getting started—this event is for you.

Located at the First Christian Church of Tyler in the Christian Life Center on campus, attendees will have access to:

• On-site job applications with local employers
• Free interview-ready clothing
• Resume building and job coaching assistance
• Referrals to essential services such as housing, food, transportation, and more
