🏃 Join us for the 1st Annual Take the Money and Run 5K or 1-Mile Fun Walk in historic Pilot Point, Texas! This exciting inaugural event celebrates the time Hollywood came to town to film scenes from the classic Bonnie and Clyde, featuring our iconic Farmers & Merchants Bank.
Whether you're chasing a personal record, competing for cash prizes, or enjoying a morning walk with family and friends, this event offers a memorable way to experience Pilot Point while supporting a great cause.

$40 per participant
𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲: October 4
No race-day registration or walk-up entries will be accepted.

The official 5K Run and 1-Mile Fun Walk course maps will be published prior to race day. Please check back for the finalized route.
🏆 5K Cash Prizes
Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place finishers in each of the following divisions:
Men's Open (18 & Older)
Women's Open (18 & Older)
Juniors (17 & Under)
🥇 Every Finisher Wins!
All participants who complete either the 5K Run or 1-Mile Fun Walk will receive a unique inaugural finisher's medal and shirt commemorating their participation in the inaugural event.
❤️ Walk for a Cause
Registration proceeds from the 1-Mile Fun Walk will benefit Denton County Friends of the Family, the sole nonprofit organization in Denton County providing comprehensive services to survivors of domestic violence and their families. Every step taken helps provide safety, hope, and healing to families throughout our community.

6:30 AM – Race Day Check-In Opens
8:00 AM – 5K Run Begins (staggered start groups)
Immediately Following – 1-Mile Fun Walk Begins
Packet Pickup (Required)
All participants must pick up their race packet before race day. Race packets 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗡𝗢𝗧 be distributed on race morning.
