Join us for a FREE family-friendly, heart-healthy good time! This annual event is aimed to educate and inspire the Lebanon community to take charge of their heart health. Our team has compiled fun and interesting activities for adults and children alike, such as the highlights below.
Education & Wellness:
Sit in on heart-health talks with our world-class doctors from WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. Topics include:
🔵 5:30 p.m. - Heart Attack Signs and Symptoms, presented by Dr. Edward Tadajweski, interventional cardiologist
🔵 6:00 p.m. - Stroke Signs and Symptoms and When to Take Action, presented by Dr. John Mingle, neurologist
🔵 6:30 p.m. - Cardiac Stenting and the Importance of a Heart-healthy Diet, presented by Dr. Jonathan Norton, interventional cardiologist
Participate in free blood pressure and diabetes screenings so that you can ‘know your numbers.’
Fun for the Kids (and the young at heart!):
🔵 Touch-a-truck display with First Aid Safety Patrol and Fire Truck with special appearance by a WellFlight Medical helicopter.
🔵 Heart function exhibit
🔵 Pull-up bar challenge with the Pennsylvania National Guard
🔵Other fitness activities for kids, including a karate demonstration and dancing
🔵 Free popcorn and door prizes
