Corrugated Iron presents: Take Every Liberty✨
Take Every Liberty is a command. It’s playwright Morgan Rose’s famous stage direction, appearing at the start of her plays, daring performers to push, pull and provoke.
This one-hour play reading from Corrugated Iron’s Company C brings five short works by Morgan Rose. Darkly funny, razor-sharp, and a little unhinged. Her words are absurd, unpredictable, and refuse to land neatly.
Company C acting ensemble interrogates Rose’s theatrical language, creating an eclectic collision of text, performance, and flashes of circus. Stripped back but bursting with energy, it’s immediate, messy, and gloriously alive.
Unpredictable, biting, and a little feral, Take Every Liberty is what happens when young artists take on work that refuses to behave and have fun in the process of meeting it head on.
