Scarlet Tinkabelle and Sophie deLightful are best friends who share stages, dreams and lots of good times. So it is with great excitement that they debut their brand new duo show at Darwin Fringe, “deLightfully Scarlet: A Vintage Affair.”
Tipping their sparkly hats to the fun and frivolous speakeasy period, they explore the racy underbelly of the prohibition era, which soundtracked the art of the tease with some of our most memorable cabaret moments today. Effortlessly intertwining a modern day edge with themes of empowerment and self-belief, this show is perfectly palatable for any generation.
With Sophie’s powerhouse vocals and Tink’s award-winning sideshow burlesque stylings, deLightfully Scarlet is more than your typical jazz burlesque set. Nightly prizes will be awarded to Best Dressed, so buckle up those corsets and dust off those rhinestones.
