About this Event
This is not a technical class.
You don’t need to be “good at AI,” understand how models work, or keep up with every new tool.
This workshop is designed for thoughtful professionals who want clarity, confidence, and a practical plan—without hype, jargon, or pressure to become an expert overnight.
Format: 3-hour, live, hands-on workshop for working professionals
Develop a plan for enhancing your role with AI
“The most well-presented, humorous, and creative AI session I’ve seen… maybe ever.”
Bibi — Founder, Tech Consulting Business
You’re hearing about AI in every meeting, memo, and news story—but not in a way that tells you what it means for your job.
If you’re concerned about the future and you’d rather be the person using AI than the one replaced by it, this session is for you.
During this in-person working session, we’ll move from the headlines about AI to the reality of the work you do every week. Using your actual job description, calendar, and deliverables, we’ll map where AI is likely to replace tasks, where it can assist you as a powerful copilot, and where humans need to remain firmly in charge. You’ll leave with a concrete, role-specific plan to protect your relevance, increase your value, and show up as the professional who is leading AI adoption on your team—not being swept along by it.
Who this is for
- Professionals who want to stay relevant and valuable as AI reshapes everyday work
- Managers and individual contributors who want to lead AI adoption thoughtfully—not reactively
- People who feel there’s a gap between AI hype and what actually helps them do better work
- Curious beginners who want a clear, human-centered way to start using AI at work
No technical background required. If you know your job, you already have everything you need to participate fully.
What we’ll do together
Over three hours, we’ll combine short, plain-language briefings with guided exercises using your real work:
See your role through an AI lens
- Break your job into the actual tasks you do in a typical month
- Learn a simple framework for where AI can:
- Replace repetitive or rules-based tasks
- Assist you as a powerful copilot
- Remain Human where trust, judgment, and relationships matter most
Evaluate your job and tasks
- Use your own job description as raw material
- Classify each major task as Replace / Assist / Remain Human
- Spot where you’re already strong as a human—and where AI could free up time or raise your impact
Get specific about how AI can help you now
- Identify 2–3 concrete workflows where AI can assist you this quarter
- Draft practical prompts and use-cases tailored to your role (e.g., analysis, writing, planning, communication)
- Learn how to experiment safely: when to trust outputs, when to double-check, and what to never delegate
Craft your “I’m in charge of AI” statement for management
- Write a clear, confident statement you can use with your manager, HR, or leadership that explains:
- How AI is changing your role
- What you’re already doing to use it responsibly
- How you plan to shift low-value work to AI and double down on your human strengths
- Refine it with feedback so it sounds like you—and signals that you are leading, not resisting, the change
- Design a 30–90 day learning and upskilling path
- Map out the skills and tools you want to build next
- Turn that into a simple development plan you can share with your manager
- Draft a specific request to your manager (budget, time, tools, or training) that makes it easy for them to say yes
You’ll leave feeling clearer, calmer, and more in control of how AI fits into your work—starting immediately.
You’ll leave with
- A Replace / Assist / Remain Human map for your current role
- A short list of high-impact AI use cases tailored to your daily work
- A written “Future of My Role with AI” statement you can use in check-ins, reviews, or career conversations
- A 30–90 day upskilling plan, plus a clear written request you can take to your manager to support your learning
- More confidence that you are not waiting for AI to happen to you—you’re actively shaping how it shows up in your team
A powerhouse presentation. Practical, meaningful, and perfectly delivered.”
