Want to learn how to become a leader in your community? Join the Orange County Department on Aging and graduates of our Project EngAGE program to learn more about our innovative older adult volunteer program. Project EngAGE is a free leadership program at the Orange County Department on Aging that seeks to recruit and train Orange County, NC older adults to become resource leaders and make their communities ideal places to age. Project EngAGE launched its first class in May 2013 and has since held and graduated six classes for a total of 79 Senior Leaders. We will launch our seventh Project EngAGE class in Fall 2026, and we are looking for motivated and passionate individuals to join! Visit our Senior Resource Booths and learn how our leaders go on to address resource gaps with their own unique projects. Then join us for a Q&A with these alumni and ask any questions you may have about the program. This FREE in-person event will take place on April 29th from 2:15 – 3:15 PM at the Passmore Center located at 103 Meadowlands Dr, Hillsborough. Refreshments will be provided.
