The Taj Mahal event raises money for the following worthwhile causes:
· TIGS Sony Camp: funds are used for a long-weekend of respite care for local young people from The Disability Trust, supported by Year 11 students from Illawarra Grammar who volunteer their time as camp companions.
· The Disability Trust: funds raised will assist local families in purchasing specialised equipment for young people with disabilities, helping them to live their best life.
· TIGS Foundation: funds are used for initiatives such as scholarships for a local child/children whose circumstances would not otherwise allow them to access the opportunities afforded by an education at TIGS.
· The Illawarra Passionate Cricketers Club: a non-profit organisation bringing young people from all backgrounds together for the love of cricket.
