Taiwanese Canadian Cultural Festival - Burnaby
This year marks a historic milestone as we celebrate Taiwanese Heritage Month (THM). Following an official proclamation by the Government of British Columbia, every July is now recognized as Taiwanese Heritage Month: a time to honour the rich history, culture, and contributions of Taiwanese Canadians across the province.
As the flagship celebration of Taiwanese Heritage Month, TCCF 2026 brings together traditional arts, live performances, culture, and community in a free, family-friendly festival for all ages.
Experience three renowned performing arts troupes visiting from Taichung, Taiwan:
• Shin Yi Fang Taiwanese Opera (新藝芳歌劇團)
• Jin Yu Yuan Puppet Theatre (金宇園掌中劇團)
• Miao Hsuan Dance Group (妙璇舞蹈團), featuring the Twelve Grannies and Tiger God performances
Additional performances include:
• Taiwanese Canadian Ensemble
• Vancouver Formosan Singers
Visitors can also enjoy:
🧋 Taste of Taiwan
Authentic Taiwanese drinks including bubble tea, wintermelon lemon juice, specialty teas, and other beloved Taiwanese drinks.
🎨 Cultural Workshops
Hands-on activities including Story Lantern making, interactive art experiences, and family-friendly programming.
🌿 Arts & Wellness

Whether you're a longtime supporter of Taiwanese culture or curious to learn more, we invite you to join us for this exciting first-ever TCCF celebration in Burnaby.
